seeding

The weather is warming up, frost is gone… Time to do some sowing! I made a little greenhouse of an old barbecue and a broken door..

Bridget shows me how to do it: A seed should only be covered with earth twice its size. If it´s more, it might not make it up to the surface.

The earth we use for sowing, is all sifed old compost. Fully nutrient

And no need to waste seeds! It will just make it difficult when they start to grow. Put them down one by one, and gently cover them with a little bit of earth. Be patient…🙂 We sowed tomatoes, basil, lemongrass, brussels sprouts, asparagus beans, mustardsalad….

These babies should be watered every day. Very gently, with a spray, so we don´t wash out the seeds. Let the door open if very hot times of day.

And just after a little week, here comes the newborn!
